The Story of naturally
The brand naturally is part of DHPPS GmbH, founded in 2020. The six-person team around Andreas Damberger and Manuel Hanel brings strong expertise from the IT world, ranging from software development to project management for large multinational corporations. Their desire to build something of their own led them into the supplement niche. The first product went live on Amazon in November 2020.

At the beginning of their journey, naturally chose a logistics provider that was suitable for smaller brands getting started. After sales on Amazon developed well, the team took the next steps to drive growth. Since 2024, naturally has been selling through its own online store and additional marketplaces such as Shop Apotheke.
However, as the company grew, problems with the existing logistics partner began to surface:
- Synchronization errors: Inventory reconciliation errors occurred more frequently.
- Unclear fees: High inbounding costs could not be clearly explained by the previous partner.
- Scalability: The team needed a solution that could keep up with high shipment volumes and a multichannel sales strategy.

In 2025, naturally returned to talking to byrd. The decision was driven by the overall package: attractive shipping rates for smaller parcels that can be sent via DHL Kleinpaket, combined with the technical strength of the platform.

Pre-FBA shipments to Amazon fulfillment centers are also handled by byrd, which has developed a specialized solution for this process.

And naturally’s ambitions are big. For 2026, the company plans to integrate additional marketplaces and launch new products. Logistics will expand geographically as well. Due to increasing shipment volumes to Austria, the team plans to activate a byrd warehouse location in Austria in 2026 or early 2027 to be even closer to customers.
